So the NHL Lockout is over and the world is wondering why fans continue to support a league who keeps its supporters as hostages while players and owners continue to argue due to some circomstances ? The answer to that long and complicated question is simple…It’s an addiction! We are like crack addicts who need a fix before we go insane or go postal…We try to get our fixes through minor hockey like AAA or AA hockey leagues, but its not the same. So we make due with what we have until hockey comes back to us and then when it does comeback…we are bitter, but we forgive the league and act like it never happened. It’s hockey after all…It’s our sport, it’s our passion…IT’S OUR LIFE. So please don’t judge us…if it wasn’t for the NHL we’d be miserable. So instead of making dumb comments, offer some help like enableing us to more hockey. For example buy your hockey fan a great seat to a rival game, or maybe buy him/her the NHL CENTER ICE so they can watch all the hockey they want, or if your short on cash buy them the newest edition of EA SPORTS NHL 13…Its close enough to the real deal…they’ll get a buzz out of it. Remember to some its not a choice…its a need.
